The wheel (in Romani the chakra) with 16 spokes, symbolises the road, the journey, the caravan, but also, and above all, the Indian origins of certain Roma groups, towards present-day Rajasthan.
The colour blue symbolises the sky, freedom and spiritual values.
The green colour symbolises the earth, progress and fertility.
